Patrik Nižník

Hello, my name is Patrik Nižník, and I am a member of the school parliament at the high school in Považská Bystrica.

My motivation to run for parliament was partly the fact that I enjoy trying new things, but my main goal is to represent you, the students, and defend your rights and interests before those in power. We must also not forget about improving events and activities at our school. Our "mini" events will greatly benefit from student ideas, and that’s exactly what I want to promote to make our time at school more enjoyable.

As for me, I am a logically minded person. At school, I particularly enjoy mathematics and natural sciences. In my free time, I do a lot of sports, and you can find me at sports events such as triathlons, various running events, or even a cycling marathon. I also enjoy working with video and am part of the Rozhľad community and Rozhľad TV. Currently, I am working on achieving the silver level of the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE).
